At Own My Canvas, I believe affirming mental health and wellness for identifying Black women and identifying women of colour can be achieved. There are times, even the strongest person needs support to manage life's more challenging events. You are not alone in your hurdles. If you are struggling with trauma, trauma stress-related disorders, anxiety, depression, self-identity, self-worth, or life transitions, there is hope.

I am a private practice committed to creating a personalized therapy program that empowers you and centres your voice in your mental health care. Together, we’ll understand the nature of the challenges that you’re experiencing and explore coping strategies that help you to rediscover more flow in your life. Delivered virtually across Ontario and in-person in Kitchener, Ontario.

Using an integrative body-oriented approach, I've designed a group therapy to help you reconnect, share your experience, build community, and improve your skills to cope with life challenges and to gain a sense of empowerment.
